I came across PINKFONG recently while searching for something else to use alongside my favourite Super Simple Learning materials. PINKFONG is one of several apps produced by the Korean SMARTSTUDY company. On their YouTube Channel, PINKFONG have funky cartoons of traditional children's stories, as well as songs including traditional nursery rhymes, bedtime lullabies and more. The also have phonics videos and seasonal specials such as Christmas songs.

I particularly like their renditions of traditions stories such as Aesop's Fables (The Tortoise and the Hare, The Sly Fox and The Greedy Dog, to name a few) as well as fairy tales like Town Mouse and Country Mouse and Christmas stories such as The Nutcracker. They also have their own original stories, featuring sharks, dinosaurs, princess's and cars. Whether you're looking for a short film to fit in with this term's curriculum or you just want something to keep the kids quiet for a few minutes, PINKFONG can come to the rescue.

With over 1 million subscribers and 1 billion page views, it's clear that parents and educators all over the world are making the most of this awesome resource. I've only recently introduced their videos to my classroom and can't wait to explore their channel and see what else they have.
